Sunday February 19 2012: On a perfect sunny day whilst a large contingent of our juniors were away representing their clubs at Pennants, our remaining members took full advantage and the opportunity to head to Noosa to compete at the 2012 Noosa Par 3 Junior Classic and I’m sure everyone more than enjoyed the challenge!

As the pictures would suggest, the weather was absolutely perfect for golf “even though the course was a little heavy under foot due to some overnight rain” but that wasn’t about stop nor deter any of our juniors from enjoying what they came to enjoy and that was their golf and a great day out.

The Tour would like to extent their thanks and appreciation to Keith Hill “pictured above centre with his best mate Billy” and their manager Barry for their very generous support of junior golf. Many thanks to Rusty (Course Superintendent) and his team for presenting their course in excellent condition and to everyone involved for making our Tour members feel so welcome.

As always, I and The Tour had a ball and that’s largely due to everyone getting into the spirit of the day and enjoying each other’s company. Another big reason is the help and support that The Tour receives from some of our very generous members who are only too happy to roll up their sleeves, get dirty and help out in any way they can to make sure everyone enjoyed the experience.

It was an excellent day out, topped off with one of our old fashioned Invincibles Sausage Sizzles courtesy of Jack Freeman, “Mountain Creek Meats” and Gerry Brown, “Mountain Creek Café Bakery” Thanks to Jack and Gerry, no one went home hungry.

I would personally like to thank Christine and Lucy Rogers (Pictured above) who did a brilliant job with the BBQ which was very much appreciated and brought a big smile to everyone face!!

I would also like to thank Frank Schmidt (Pictured above centre) for the fantastic effort he puts into organizing the score cards and doing the scoring. It’s not an easy job and one that needs a lot of patience, not only from the scorers but competitors alike.

A Big thanks for the enormous amount of hard work and effort that Neil Charkow puts into keeping your website up to date so we can all stay well informed. Next time you see these guys, give them a pat on the back because they really do make a huge difference!

The Invincibles Committee (above), their juniors and families would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the following organizations for their incredibly generous and fantastic support of “The Invincibles Tour” on the Sunshine Coast.

I would also like to thank those parents, relatives and friends that take the time to drive and support their kids as they participate in Invincibles Tour Events. As the photos suggest, it’s not only the kids that get a lot of enjoyment out of the day, but family and friends as well. It's brilliant to see and indicative of what The Invincibles Tour is all about.
