The Invincibles Tour would like to thank and congratulate Tin Can Bay Golf Club for hosting yet another fantastic Junior Classic. In particular we would like to thank Janet Reibel (Ladies Captain) who as always did a brilliant job hosting their event along with her hard working team in Marilyn Richards, Men’s Captain Danny Grant who did a brilliant job on the B.B.Q. A special thanks to their bar staff and course superintendant who collectively helped put on an excellent day!

Outside the numbers being a little down on last year, we couldn’t have asked for more, the weather was perfect, their course was in excellent condition and our tour members took full advantage of the perfect conditions to enjoy a great day out!!

Most importantly we would like to thank Janet and her team for once again making everyone feel so welcome. I personally had a great time as I always do when I head to Tin Can Bay because I know through past experiences that we’re in for a great day and Sunday was no exception!

For those that haven’t visited Tin Can Bay then you’re missing out on something pretty special, it’s only a casual one and a half hour drive north of Mooloolaba “Sunshine Coast” and a great holiday destination. Several of our members and their families took full advantage of the opportunity by turning it into a great social weekend away.

A special mention and thanks to the House of Golf, Harvey Bay for their fantastic sponsorship and support of the Tin Can Bay’s Junior Classic and junior golf in general.

As always I would like to thank Frank Schmidt (Treasurer) and Keith Stockill for the fantastic job they do by helping keep The Tours stats and records up to date. Many thanks to Neil Charkow for the brilliant job he does in keeping The Invincibles Website up to date and fresh so we all stay well informed. Together they do a fantastic job and make an enormous difference to the running of The Tour and I’m more than appreciative of their feedback and support.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank our senior members on Tour for going out of their way to encourage and show an interest in our younger members.

It’s really a great sight to see and one I never tire of. The Tour is also enormously thrilled with the standard of speeches at presentation. It’s fantastic to see and helps make our presentations something special.

Once again, congratulations to Janet Reibel and her team at Tin Can Bay for hosting another fantastic junior Classic. We had a great time and really appreciated yours and your team’s efforts!!!
