It’s incredible to witness the difference between last year’s “very wet” Junior Classic, to this year’s, where we were treated to two days of brilliant sunshine and a course that was set up in magnificent condition to host the running of the Pelican Waters Two Day Junior Classic thanks to the great team at Pelican “led by their new golf director, Jacob Harris” who did an excellent job setting things in place for our juniors to make the most of their school holidays and two magical days for golf. Congratulations to Steven Cox (Wantima) who followed up on his great playoff win recently at Redcliffe to win the boys Div 1 with a 73 – 71= 144...............
Thanks to another perfect autumn day and much needed rain that fell during the week. Not even an overcast and windy day was going to deter our juniors from putting in some incredible and personal best performances at one of the Sunshine Coast’s most majestic and best presented golf courses “Noosa Springs”. The Invincibles Tour had a great day out contesting their 2014 Noosa Springs Junior Classic where Doug Klein (Redcliffe) and Aneka Park (Caloundra) put in brilliant performances to take out the boys and girls divisions of the Noosa Classic with scores of 74 "in a playoff" and 70 (- 2) respectively.
