Two of our youngest (Invincibles) members are at it again! Twelve year old Aneka Park and Sean Daines (both from Caloundra) put in a couple of brilliant performances with Aneka winning the ladies section of the Caloundra Pro – Am with 36 points and Sean Daines winning their Monthly Mug with an excellent 62 nett. I get the strongest of feelings that this is just a sign of things to come given the caliber of player that's competing on Tour!!!!!

Under brilliantly blue skies, in perfect conditions and on a magnificently prepared Twin Waters layout, Roy McClean and Terry Young (Drummond Golf) Daniel Butler (Titleist) and Andrew Davidson broke their own event record of last year by carding an incredible fifteen under par – 50 nett which included 15 birdies and 3 pars!!!

After a cool start to the day (4.30 am for the coast kids) to arrive at Nanango for an 8.30am start with frost on the fairways and the course in excellent condition thanks to the volunteers that prepared the course for a great day of golf. Some excellent scores recorded with Shae Wools-Cobb winning Boys 18 hole gross with an excellent score of 74. Anna Stanton won best gross for the girls with 78. Michael Young won best nett with 66.

It’s fantastic to see our Invincibles members starting to realize their full potential. Their beginning to understand that if they commit to their golf, they have the opportunities, support and what it takes to make a career out of the game and create a future for themselves!!!
