The Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship

The IGA Sunshine Coast Junior Masters is endorsed and supported by four of our major golf clubs on the coast in Noosa Springs, Twin Waters, Peregian Springs and Club Pelican who have very generously given their time and courses to help promote this championship, it is our belief that this event will help stimulate and encourage our finest young golfers both boys and girls to elevate to the highest level the coast has to offer.

The Junior Masters is for qualifiers only and open to any boy or girl 17 years of age and under with a Golf Australian handicap of 10 or less for boys, 15 and less for girls. There are nominated rounds throughout the year (see events) at selected clubs and their Junior Classics or Opens which will give you the opportunity to qualify and take your place in the field of the Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship in September.

This Championship is run under the strictest criterion and code of conduct, we are not necessarily looking for the lowest marker to take part in this Championship but more the junior with the best all round package and by that we mean the right attitude, people skills and golfing ability, in short we are looking for juniors that represent themselves, their families, their clubs and the game of golf in the appropriate manner, someone that would like to go further with their golf and would benefit from the valuable experience gained from playing in such a prestigious event as this.

The match committee reserves the right via wild cards to invite special guests or juniors they consider worthy to take their place in the field.
