In absolutely perfect conditions and thanks to the generosity of Horton Park Golf Club, The Invincibles Tour contested the second round of their 2012 Matchplay Championships where once again we saw some very tight matches go into extra play off holes where Shae Wools – Cobb (Horton Park) triumphed over Matthew Samen – Curtis (Headland) on the 20th hole with Trent Easton (Bribie Island) def Harrison Price (Peregian Springs) on the 19th.

One of the main highlights for the large gallery was the 145 meter eagle shot from Shae Wools – Cobb (Horton Park) into the very challenging par 4 – 3rd hole. The other highlight was the incredible fight back from Kodie Koski (Caloundra) who at one stage was five down against the very talented and close friend Wade Stockill (Horton Park) to eventually triumph 1 up!!!

The finals will be hosted by Hyatt Regency Coolum next Sunday, January 22 from 9.40 with a 10.40 tee off. Spectators are more than welcome!
