On what was another warm “some might say hot” summers day that tested everyone’s resolve and stamina to the max as they contested the 2017 Bribie Island Junior Open, and given the lack of rain we’ve had since Christmas, the course was in magnificent condition, particularly the greens, which Hye Park (Royal Pines) and Chase Duffy (Redcliffe – pictured) took full advantage of as they put in excellent performances to win the junior divisions with rounds of 72 and 73 respectively.
